RAG: A History of Blood – Physicians Gallery, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (2026)
The Blood Bag Project and ‘What I Wish I Knew’ community menstruation banner are currently on display as part of the Physician Gallery’s Rag: A History of Blood exhibition. The exhibition runs from 27 February-16 October 2026. ‘Amazing Blood Ties’ can also be found the the gallery’s children’s reading corner.

The Magic Show – Sunny Bank Mills Gallery, Leeds (2026)
‘The Magic Show‘ was a collaborative exhibition between Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre & Pyramid, building on the success of previous exhibitions featuring artists with disabilities and neurodivergence at the Mills. The Magic Show is an immersive take-over of the Gallery, with artists from both groups responding to the theme of magic. I supported two Pyramid artists in this exhibition. Heather created a 2m x 2m x 3m crochet blanket fort, utilising the craft community through an open call-out to receive over 300 crochet squares. I facilitated in the logistics of the call out, creation of the panels, installation of the fort and technical creation of vegetable sprite characters. I also supported Alexander in curating his ‘monster toy’ illustrations into a video with audio description, three sensory boxes with braille, building a website with animated gif and merchandise including badges, stickers and a colouring book.
For the Love of Textiles – Sunny Bank Mills Gallery, Leeds (2026)
‘Amazing Blood Ties’ featured in the zine library throughout April-June. Free copies were made available for members of the public to take home and share. ‘For the Love of Textiles is an exhibition exploring the loving connections humans have with textiles. The show features wedding dresses from around the world, death masks, miniature pocket alters, emotion filled quilts and stunning examples of skill all done in the name of love. The exhibition also include archival pieces from some incredible textile collections.’
Hematopolitics with Dr Jieun Kim (2024-2025)
Working with researcher Dr Jieun Kim at University of Leeds. We produced textile blood bag making workshops in Seoul, South Korea and Kyoto, Japan (2024). These were exhibited (8th Feb-29th June 2025) as part of Thackray Museum of Medicine’s Blood: Ties and Tension exhibition. You can read the stories about each bag on the Thackray blog or Hematopolitics website.
An illustrated children’s book ‘Amazing Blood Ties’ was also created, with Dr Kim as the author, and Leigh as the illustrator.
Leeds Access Cloaks – Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds City Museum, Armley Mills Museum, The Carriageworks Theatre (2023)
Alfie & his team of support artists worked alongside a number of Leeds SILC Schools and a Pyramid Discover group to make hundreds of monoprinted circles that will be sewn together to make up four larger than life Access Cloaks. The project is about disabled people having access to art & artistic spaces. I worked as part of the team that stitched together hundreds (if not thousands) of circles to create the impressive, large scale artworks. The finished Access Cloaks were hung from four important cultural venues such as Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds City Museum and Leeds Industrial Museum in Leeds from October 2023. Alfie hopes that his cloaks will encourage the people of Leeds to think about access and inclusion. This ground breaking project is funded by Arts Council England.
Thackray Museum of Medicine x The Vagina Museum (2021)
Designing and delivering stitched based workshops around the theme of ‘What I wish I Knew’ in response to menstruation. Working with an LGBTQIA* youth group, secondary school students, an over 55’s group and an activist girl’s group. Stitched outcomes were then brought together into one large banner, displayed during the exhibition (Jan 8th – 10th April 2021).

Freehand machine embroidery of Jo Malone London products for their New Year, Valentines Day and Lunar New Year (Year of the Rooster) campaign*. Used globally across Jo Malone stores and published advertising. Seen in window displays for Jo Malone London stores such as New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, St. Petersburg, Hong Kong, Okinawa and many more.
*I created all of the product bottles, boxes and jars, including stitching their labels as separate pieces. Surrounding embroideries are not mine.
Stormzy x Greggs (2020)
